what a year...
junior season was so good to me!

-NCAA D2 runner up (all-american x3)
-MIAA conference champion
-MIAA meet record holder
-MSSU School Record (54.70m)
-#3 on the D2 all-time list
- Lionbacker Award

It really takes a village, and I couldn't have done it without mine. So thank you.

I have so much gratitude for this year and the way it has changed me. Learning that it's not the end result, but the journey and process to get there is where my love for javelin has been fueled. I reached a lot of my goals for this season, but there was one goal I underestimated myself with. That was throwing a PR, since UCL surgery my freshman year. And I crushed it.

But, back to work. Jobs not finished.
See you next year 🦁 💛 💚

goodbye track and field. this season wasn’t what i wanted, but the memories i made along the way is what makes this year special. i made so many memories and best friends along the way and i wouldn’t trade that for anything.

coming to missouri southern i didn’t know if it was the right decision, and after everything i wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. missouri southern gave me a home and ill forever be grateful for that. 💚💛 so thank you to all my teammates and coaches who’ve supported me and helped me along the way !

also thanks @luketrotter04 for giving me massages every night… i still need them though, i’m getting pretty old! 😘😝

Psalms 144:1-2 NKJV
[1] Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle— [2] My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

It’s been a season to say the least. Finishing 9th in one of the deepest Division II hammer competitions ever is heartbreaking, but a 2-meter PR and a throw of 63.49m proved we rose to the moment when it mattered most. I did not contribute any points to the team placing but I am beyond proud of my teamates for securing ourselves a 3rd place finish on both the women's & men's sides.

I’m beyond thankful for my lord Jesus Christ being my rock and salvation, my teammates, my coaches, and everyone who’s been part of this journey. This season tested me, pushed me, and made me better in many more ways than I could've imagined.

Year 4 is in the books & we’re just getting started. Much more to come.
