Day 4 of Pasadena local finds: Marz Bazaar in South Pasadena. 🧿✨

Walked in and got transported straight to an Istanbul bazaar — every table tells a different story. 🛍️ Cotton block-print robes from India 🇮🇳, a table of local ceramics 🏺, alternative wood-wrap candles that glow when lit 🕯️, vintage beaded jewelry 📿, an apothecary corner I could’ve stayed in all day 🌿.

Met Jasa, the owner 👋. Her line stuck with me: “I love our apothecary.” 💛

South Pasadena has been its own town since 1888 thanks to the ostrich farm (you heard me) that wanted to control its own territory.

While the ostrich farm is long gone, the city maintains its somewhat quirky small town charm.
