Meet my newest Around Town students: Marzipan, Loki, and Gracie ✨

Around Town is one of my favorite classes because it focuses on the real-life skills dogs need to confidently navigate everyday situations with their people. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be visiting pet-friendly stores, the beach, farmers markets, and other public spaces to practice calm, focused behavior in the real world.

Each of these pups is working on something a little different. Whether it’s dog reactivity, loose leash walking, or learning to stay calm and engaged in exciting environments, I’ll be helping them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

I’m excited to watch each of them grow and can’t wait to share their progress along the way.

A huge congratulations to Marzipan, Monte, and Gracie on graduating from my Advanced Canine Life & Social Skills course 🎓🐾

Over the past several weeks, these pups have worked hard on real-life skills that help them navigate the world with more confidence and success. They practiced settling calmly under a table, loose-leash walking around distractions, leave-it, and many other important behaviors in real-world environments.

Each session took place in the park, where they had the opportunity to work through new sights, sounds, people, and distractions while building their focus and confidence. Watching their progress from week to week has been so rewarding, and I am very proud of how far each of them has come.

Congratulations, Marzipan, Monte, and Gracie. It has been a pleasure working with you and your humans, and I can't wait to see all the ways you continue to grow!

Meet the newest Advanced Canine Life & Social Skills crew 🐾

Monte, Marzipan, Gracie, Astro, and Koby are already putting in the work, practicing real-life skills out in public. Each dog-and-handler team is tackling their own goals, like reactivity, fear, over-excitement, and everything in between.

They had a great first day, and I’m so excited to watch their progress over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for their progress!
