Your device can turn on the camera, open your files, and go online without you really noticing.

Most of the time you just have to trust that it’s only doing what you asked.

That trust is basically invisible. You can’t easily see what’s allowed, change the rules, or take the access away.

I’m @marzsss

I’m building MarzsOS so that changes.

You’ll be able to see exactly what can use your camera, files, or internet. Set limits that actually fit your life, and remove the access whenever you want. It works offline by default. If an AI tool needs the internet, you decide when it connects and what it’s allowed to share.

Not just more powerful AI. A computer that makes its own actions clear and leaves the decisions with you.

I’m also making a simpler way to write code; closer to plain language. So more people can build things.

What you make on MarzsOS will still run on other devices.

Still early. Nothing to download yet.

Starting from the core (building kernel) and sharing the work as it happens.

This is how computers should work.
Let’s build it.

Another entry in the live experiment.

Day 3 of the @nfaintelligent public forward test.
The engine had a red day. Here’s why ?.

My Portfolio closed -1.76% while SPY +0.50% on Iran deal optimism. Three days in, I’m -3.4% behind SPY. Looks bad.
But it isn’t.

The Portfolio engine @nfaintelligent built this test portfolio with my money to be a 0.82-beta portfolio, with hedges (energy, gold miner, exchanges, defensive consumer).

On a +2.2% three day SPY melt up, a hedged portfolio
*is supposed to lag*.

The week SPY drops, this reverses.
For example on Wednesday’s -1.6% SPY day, this book would have led.

The honest part: over a third of today’s loss was entry timing, not stock picks. 😂😭 I converted limit orders to market mid afternoon into a fading rally. The engine works; the execution didn’t.

So a new rule Monday: all entries execute market on open, nothing after 10am. 🙅‍♂️ That one change was worth 65bps today. 😭

Most important number on the chart: today’s loss was 87% of the engine’s pre computed VaR (Value at Risk)

the daily loss it already told me to expect. Inside the model.

My stops are live, risk capped, every position under 30% of book risk. The engine is working.

It’s day 3 of 90. Building in public means showing the red ones too. 🤷‍♂️ Not financial advice trading my stuff at my own risk.

I put $27K into the CD to buy a used Model 3. I borrow $27K against it and pay it back over 5 years; my total repayment is $31,000 (my principal + interest)
The CD grows to $33,900
∙ and I spent $27K + $31K = $58K to end up with $33,900 + a car 🔥

Real question: when you scan a QR at a place, what do you expect to happen next?
This screen is what shows up before anything else.
