POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s 4:54am on a Saturday. Some people are waking up. I’m getting a camera feed from a computer I built myself.

I put together the Raspberry Pi, installed its operating system, connected the camera, and got the live stream working. Now I’m working on getting that feed into the MarzsAI app.

The goal is a home camera I can build and use without paying a camera company every month. I want to make more of them, give them a custom case, and build features like motion alerts, local recording, and a private live view in MarzsAI.

Right now, you’re seeing the camera work. The app connection and the rest are what I’m building next.

Today’s small win: making an LED blink with MicroPython.

The timer runs the tick function once per second. Each time it runs, the code flips the LED state from on to off or off to on, then writes that state to the pin.

A blink is simple, but it taught me how a timer can run code at a set interval without putting everything inside a loop. Building in public, one test at a time.

Your device can turn on the camera, open your files, and go online without you really noticing.

Most of the time you just have to trust that it’s only doing what you asked.

That trust is basically invisible. You can’t easily see what’s allowed, change the rules, or take the access away.

I’m @marzsss

I’m building MarzsOS so that changes.

You’ll be able to see exactly what can use your camera, files, or internet. Set limits that actually fit your life, and remove the access whenever you want. It works offline by default. If an AI tool needs the internet, you decide when it connects and what it’s allowed to share.

Not just more powerful AI. A computer that makes its own actions clear and leaves the decisions with you.

I’m also making a simpler way to write code; closer to plain language. So more people can build things.

What you make on MarzsOS will still run on other devices.

Still early. Nothing to download yet.

Starting from the core (building kernel) and sharing the work as it happens.

This is how computers should work.
Let’s build it.

Everything I learn at school, I bring home and teach my nephew. Now we’re building MarzsOS together for a home air monitoring system. I’m building the computer, the operating system, and my own kernel from the ground up. It’s my own IP, but getting to build it with him makes it even more special.

And yes, we still make time to touch grass and play soccer.

October 20, 2026. This is where I started.

A Pico WH on a breadboard. No air sensor connected yet. No finished device. Just me, a few parts, and an idea I care enough about to learn how to build.

I want to add physical devices to the MarzsAI ecosystem. The first physical device I’m building is to help people understand the air in their homes, even if their air purifier has no app. My goal is a separate sensor that can send readings to @marzsssai , show what changes over time, and make something invisible easier to notice.

Today I’m learning how to make the board work. Then I’ll add a sensor. Then I’ll figure out how to get its readings into the app. I’m posting this part because I want to remember what it looked like before any of that worked.

If I come back to this photo years from now, I want to remember that I started with what I had.

Staying positive and building whenever I can. I added a new feature to @marzsssai that lets you keep track of things you own and their value, if you want to. It will be in the next update.

I’m updating the app every chance I get. Thank you for your patience and for using MarzsAI.
