The Desert Fox is a work horse. It deserves more attention than it gets.

Pair of worth an @orthosarms shotgun and your stylin'.

Love these guys.

Post October 7, this unit, an organic team that has been together since day one, took me in and welcomed me as one of their own.

A sense of family and brotherhood that few would understand.

Today was a fun day of boxing training, sharing some laughs, good food, and great company.

Love you all. Keep kicking a$$!

Masada.

The namesake of my companies.

More than just a name. A symbol.

A symbol of resistance. Of warriors. Of courage in the face of overwhelming odds. Of refusing to surrender, give in, or give up.

I love visiting this place. The history. The sacrifice. The meaning. And the reminder of why I chose this name so many years ago.

“Masada shall never fall again.”

Speed is not a constant. It’s a variable we must learn to control.

When I teach tactical courses, I often emphasize the importance of managing speed.

Movement to an objective, room clearing, active assailant response, warrant service, crowd management. Each requires a different pace. And often, that pace must change in real time as new variables emerge.

Sometimes we accelerate. Sometimes we slow down. The key is knowing when, and why.

Life is no different.

Not every situation requires the same speed of response. A business opportunity might demand immediate action, while another decision might benefit from slowing down, gathering intelligence, and evaluating options.

The same applies to relationships, leadership, and the challenges we navigate every day.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of training alongside one of the premier hostage rescue teams in the Israeli military.

And man, were they FAST.

But here’s what impressed me most.

Their speed wasn’t reactive. It was deliberate.

Their movements were fluid, their actions purposeful, and their ability to adapt to the unknown never seemed compromised by how quickly they moved.

They weren’t simply moving fast. They were controlling their speed.

I learned a great deal, and I’m eager to bring some of those lessons back to my students.

Stay safe. Keep learning. Keep growing.

And remember: Speed is a dial, not a switch. Learn when to turn it up, and when to turn it down.

When my members send notes to be placed in the western wall, I deliver.

May all your wishes come true!

(Sorry. Was trying to get a video of me actually placing them in the wall, but because it is the sabbath no photography is allowed at the holy site.)

Amazing. It’s 7am in Israel, and the Tel Aviv promenade is already filled with thousands of people running, walking, pushing strollers, playing beach volleyball, and working out at the beach gyms.

The worries are real. So is the determination to keep living. What I see are people refusing to let terror dictate how they live their lives.

This is Israel!

Daily Brief: Three years later.

(Written while I am in Israel for the fifth time since October 7, 2023.)

Some dates never become ordinary again.

October 7 is one of those dates for me.

Three years ago, lives changed in an instant. Families were shattered. Communities were attacked. And countless ordinary people were suddenly asked to do extraordinary things.

I returned to Israel and eventually found myself back in uniform.

But when I think about that period now, I don’t only think about war.

I think about responsibility.

About the moment when “someone should do something” becomes “what can I do?”

Most of us will thankfully never face that question on a battlefield.

But we face smaller versions of it constantly.
In our families.
Our businesses.
Our communities.
Our relationships.

There are moments when responsibility arrives without an invitation.

We don't always get to choose the moment.

We do get to choose whether we answer it.

I remember.

Some couples do date night a little differently.

Train together. Move together. Get better together. Have each other’s back!

It was such an honor to help Masada bring the Mogadishu Mile to life last weekend in remembrance of the lives lost and the incredible courage and sacrifice shown during the Battle of Mogadishu.

I’m grateful to have been a small part of a day that brought so many people together for something bigger than ourselves. Every dollar raised from today’s event was donated to the Ranger Legacy Foundation to support the Ranger community and continue carrying that legacy forward.

Days like today are a reminder of why I’m so grateful to be part of this community. 🇺🇸

Rangers Lead the Way.
