Coming Soon… “SHIKAAKWA: Allium Otherworld” by artist Olalekan Jeyifous (@kidcadaver), presented in partnership with @mascontext. SHIKAAKWA, an Algonquin word for the wild onions that once flourished in the marshlands where Chicago stands today, unfolds as a continuous architectural cross-section. Descending through a Louis Sullivan-inspired office tower toward mechanical systems and a mythical landscape far below, the work becomes an otherworldly reimagining of Chicago’s submerged ecological past. Experience SHIKAAKWA on the 150 Media Stream video wall October 5th, 2026 - March 31st, 2027. Stay tuned for related programming and events!
