A new layer of connecting . ✨

I’m currently taking a Yoga Nidra workshop to deepen my own practice and explore how this beautiful state of conscious rest can complement my Reiki work.

Yoga Nidra invites us to move beyond the noise of the everyday into stillness, presence, and a deeper awareness of the body and energy.

For me this training is about creating even more space to listen, feel, and connect both within myself and in the Reiki sessions I offer.

A little more learning, slowing down and getting deeper into the work 🤍
Thank you @masha_schmidt for these amazing programs
Make sure to check out all of the fun offerings with @daydreamcollaborative to help ease your way into the winter or take a pilates class with @rocpilates

Applications are open for the Newburgh Yoga Shala 200-Hour Teacher Training — beginning October 9, 2026.
This is a lineage-based program rooted in the Ashtanga and Vedic traditions, designed for practitioners who are ready to go deeper. Not just into teaching, but into the practice itself — its philosophy, its history, its transmission.

Over 14 weekends, you will study with a faculty of nine highly qualified teachers across āsana, anatomy, Sanskrit, Āyurveda, meditation, pranayama, Buddhist philosophy, and the history and ethics of yoga. You will deepen your personal practice, develop real teaching skills, and root yourself in something that has been passed down with care for generations.

Yoga Alliance Certified. 2 weekends per month. October 9, 2026 – April 18, 2027.

Have questions? We'd love to talk. Reach out at info@newburghyogashala.com to schedule a call with Bibi.

Phew! One week out from our epic #GetRooted retreat and I’m still basking in the glow!
We danced, we wrote, we received & shared under Grandmother trees, and ate s’mores under the stars ✨.
We were visited by hummingbirds & woodchucks, frogs, bunnies & broken-winged butterflies 🦋 We danced the Cha Cha slide barefooted on the grass and I’m pretty sure we saw a comet ☄️
Someone told me it was beyond what they could have imagined and I feel the same. The magic that unfolds is always bigger & more beautiful than what little ol me could have planned.
Thanks (Tlazocamati) to the land, the medicina, the ancestors, @omegainstitute, my beautiful collaborators @sawilks @masha_schmidt @j_belle_ami & everyone who answered the call to come play & write & root with me. What a gift ❤️🙏🏽
We’ll be back @omegainstitute next Aug. 13-15, 2027 for our 6th annual Get Rooted retreat, save the date to root with us! Until then, love yall! ❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽🌿
