SoundBoy. Out on YouTube now. Link in bio. It’s been a long journey with this film, and I’m excited (and a little nervous) to finally share it online. This one will be different — in a good way. Not gonna say too much about it for now, but man, we had a great time trying to kill each other on screen while becoming a family off screen. Can’t wait to see all of you cheeky little bastards again — and to watch this thing on the big screen. And this doesn’t just go out to everyone I had the pleasure of sharing the screen with, but even more so to every single person behind the camera. First and foremost, Kiah and Blake. Good memories. Lady Death will hunt down audiences in 2027. 📸 @ianr_photography #australia #ladydeath #ww2 #twins #whycantwebefriends

GIANT WOLVES. NAZI TWINS. SHOT IN SA. 🐺 LADY DEATH just shot entirely in Kuitpo Forest, outside Adelaide — and it might be the most unhinged thing made in this state all year. Here's the part that should make every SA filmmaker sit up: this shoot was initially slated for the Northern Rivers region of NSW, plus a mountain shoot in Sofia, Bulgaria. It ended up housed ENTIRELY within Kuitpo Forest instead. From writer-director Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood, Sting, Beast of War), the WWII action horror throws a crack team of British Commandos into a primeval forest on the Eastern Front, forced into an unholy alliance with legendary Soviet sniper 'Lady Death' and two demented SS officers — twins, played in gleeful dual roles. Then the wolves show up. Born of an ancient bloodline, horrifically outsized, hunting as a pack. Lady Death herself is inspired by the real Lyudmila Pavlichenko, who notched some 309 Nazi kills during the war. THE SA FIREPOWER > Shot ENTIRELY in South Australia — Kuitpo Forest doubling for 1940s Europe, plus the SAFC's Adelaide Studios Set to create more than 100 local jobs across cast, crew + extras SA co-producer Julie Byrne (I Am Mother, The Babadook) SA Heads of Department including Production Designer Rachael Gates (Wolf Creek: Legacy) and VFX Supervisor Grant Lovering (La Brea) VFX by Adelaide's own Resin (Mortal Kombat, Elvis, Hotel Mumbai) Newcomer Masha Basman leads as Lyudmila, with Robert Maaser (Ballerina, Blood & Gold) in dual roles as the twins, plus Xavier Molyneux, Bart Edwards, Jake Ryan, CJ Bloomfield, George Pullar and Sam Parsonson. "Ambitious, dangerous, funny in all the wrong places" — Kiah Roache-Turner Lady Death hunts down audiences in 2027. ANZ distribution through Umbrella Entertainment, with Architect handling worldwide sales. No release date locked in yet — we'll post it the moment it drops. 🩸 *DISCLAIMER* Always keep in mind the billion dollar Hollywood Propaganda Machine that influences culture and the perspectives of historic events and people #SAFilm #AdelaideFilm #LadyDeath #AussieHorror #GenreFilm #SouthAustralia #KuitpoForest #AdelaideStudios #WyrmwoodFranchise #IndieFilm #MadeInSA #HorrorCommunit
