First eq bench session back in NY went well with a comfortable 485 LB/220 KG single to a one board! 2nd year of grad school kicks off on Monday, and 10 weeks out from returning to the platform 👀 🇺🇸✈️🇨🇷. 500+ will be pressed soon 🎯

2026 USAPL CNats

Massi somehow locks in 2 weeks before a meet and still ends up with PRs. He has a pretty high workload especially with it being his freshman year of Uni, these next few years will only get better as he gets older and learns how to manage his time better. This meet definitely lit him up to be more consistent and he may even prep for an eq meet so watch out 😜

Squat: 217.5kg +5kg Meet Pr
Bench: 122.5 +2.5kg Meet PR
Deadlift: 275kg (2nd time pulling something over 6 and looked alot easier than his 277.5 at qualifying meet)
Total: 615 +5kg Meet PR

definitely went conservative w the load selection due to inconsistent training and externals during this prep!

Masi’s Prep has been far from perfect, w multiple instances of him getting sick and just generally not being locked in, lol. Even with that, he managed to hit a 60kg total PR. His taper was close to perfect, and surpassed what I expected it to bear. Hit our goals of Qualifying for Raw CNATS, and im super excited for him to continue to fill this class and higher ones too. Bro also got Drug Tested Lolz. Thank you Masi for trusting me and the plan and I will continue to do whatever I can so we can continue to push the needle forward🤞🏽
