“Life has a funny way of helping you out.” 💜🫂❤️✨

I am so happy that my senior show was Jagged Little Pill The Musical. From the moment we started rehearsals, I knew our cast was special. I am so grateful and blessed that I got to work with these incredibly talented individuals. From the cast to the crew we worked hard and it paid off!

Thank you to UET for always believing in me. I am so grateful for all the productions that we did together these four years. I will hold these memories close to my heart.

My thoughts about PASSAGE: I’m very glad I took the opportunity to design this UET show as my fourth and last one. For one, a new staging configuration as well as new collaborators to work with. Normally being in the may can really be a challenge for lighting designers because of issues like inventory and position locations, but I overall had a lot of fun with the design. This kind of play really forced me to fully focus on the people aspect of lighting since the set was so minimal. Without a background environment to worry about, this show was about experimenting and learning further about the composition of effective lighting on bodies as well as the contrast of positive vs negative space, which im slowly starting to get a better understanding of as I do more of these shows.
