I love this picture. Not because it promotes our gear or has anything to do with SFC, but because it captures something far more meaningful—the beauty of pure solitude. If you've ever poled across a glass-calm flat at low tide, you know the feeling. The silence. The stillness. Experiencing those moments is one thing. Capturing them in a way that makes someone else FEEL them takes an extraordinary eye, impeccable timing, and a whole lot of talent. Mason and I recently spent three incredible days with @killakoji and @backwaterflyfishing. Our goal was simple: breathe fresh life into the SFC brand. We'd taken our storytelling about as far as we could on our own. It was time for a different perspective. I'll admit, we were nervous as F#*K. SFC is our baby, and handing someone else the reins to tell our story was a little intimidating. What happened next was something neither of us expected. For three days, we were up before sunrise and often shooting until midnight. The cameras never stopped rolling. Whether chasing the perfect light, outrunning thunderstorms, or just hanging after a long day, these guys were always watching, always creating. And somewhere along the way, something remarkable happened. A story began to unfold before our eyes. Not the one I had envisioned. Not even one I knew existed. But something more genuine and meaningful than anything I could have scripted myself. The best word to describe the experience is IMMERSIVE. We laughed. We cried. And we laughed so hard we cried. Watching these two artists PAINT was extraordinary. They don't just capture images. They find beauty in the ordinary, emotion in the unexpected, and stories in moments the rest of us might never notice. We went in hoping for great content. We came away with an unforgettable experience, two lifetime friends, and a story we're incredibly proud to share. Koji and Jesse, thank you for seeing something in our little brand that we couldn't quite see ourselves. If your brand needs a fresh perspective, I can't recommend these guys highly enough. We can't wait to show you what they created.
