💚💛 Prevention starts with awareness!

Great connecting with Mason students on campus today through the George Mason University College of Science Alumni Chapter’s outreach, serving alongside GMU Police and the College of Public Health!

Together, we helped raise awareness about medication safety, preventing accidental overdoses, and connecting students with valuable resources, including naloxone (Narcan), safer pain management options, and addiction support services.

💊 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.!

Help protect our communities by safely disposing of unused or expired medications at participating collection sites nationwide.

Did you know Fairfax County also offers free overdose prevention training and naloxone kits for residents?

I played… far right bench… for George Mason from 1995 to 1996. It still is one of my greatest accomplishments. Paul Westhead was my coach. Yes, the same dude who coached the Los Angeles Lakers to the 1980 title and the only coach ever to win an NBA and WNBA title. He also coached the Denver Nuggets and Hank Gathers at Loyola Marymount. We “Ran the System”, I have incredible memories, and I’m grateful Coach Westhead let me be a part of his story.
