Brag senior mom moment!

Senior night for our number 64.

It’s been a fun 6 years of watching our boy walk on the field. I’ll never forget the first time not even knowing the rules to playing both ways, moving to Varsity as a Freshman to winning numerous awards for his dedication and leadership.

Being on the O-Line means you are a silent hero. Mason doesn’t care that his name isn’t called out during the game or his picture gets taken less than others. He has taken his job seriously protecting his quarterback and helping his team score points.

The dedication of hours of practice and then the extra lifting when he gets home to be prepared comes natural to him.

He has learned many valuable lessons about taking care of business, standing up for what’s right even when it’s against the norm and how to mentor others.

Always looks for his family when he comes off the field after a sequence. Always gets his grammas arm to help her after the game. Always tells his momma he loves her-even in front of his buddies.

We are beyond proud of our number 64 and all he has overcome to be the MVP in our eyes.

Doesn’t hurt he has his dad’s physical strength and my mental. He’s the best of both of us! And, better than us combined.

Great breakdown and explanation of how the discus has changed and how we want to focus on the push and the balance! Thank. You @martinmaric @sc_throws for sharing your knowledge.
