dear softball,

it’s been a month and i’m still trying to accept the fact that I am officially a narp. there are no words to describe the impact that this sport has had on my life. it has brought me my best friends, best mentors, and best memories. what i didn’t realize at the time was the hard part was never the game itself, the hard part is closing a chapter that has consumed my life for so long. to love something means eventually having to let it go and I know that now. so what i’m trying to say is thank you softball for everything. ill miss you more than you’ll ever know.
