MANCHESTER IS A CITY OF JUKEBOXES 🎶

Our staff writer Davey has been out and about, mooching around Manchester’s bars and pubs for the best jukeboxes. He’s chatted to publicans, he’s chatted to bar managers, he’s chatted to punters and he’s even chatted to the blokes that keep these musical beasts of wonder alive and kicking. Here’s his love letter to the jukeboxes of Manchester.

Great times last night playing records for a private birthday party at Buile Hill Park Hall with @mssarahwalters - weird playing records to some of Salford’s most famous faces (swipe through)
😳
Also, as you can see in pic 3 the light coming through the curtains made it feel like I was playing in the day time. Also weird. Wonderful service too from @masons_sound with the equipment.

We're now closed until Jan 20th. A huge thank you and much love to our staff, partners, collaborators and YOU!

We've had a wonderful first six months... bringing the best food & beer around, providing wellbeing sessions, local fundraisers and loads of fun events! #welovewithington

Finally we've installed the amazing @micahpurnell artwork on our door! It fits perfectly with our approach of becoming an integral part of this place we call home 'Community Like Never Before'

Have a happy festive season and see you next year x
