“Was that the climax?” After screening the opening fight scene, I received one of my favorite compliments^^^ Proud to share that I’m officially a DGA Award Finalist! I was selected as a finalist for the Undergraduate Category at the DGA Student Spotlight Awards for my short Playin’ Around. I got to celebrate this wonderful achievement with my crew, friends and family back in New York and I couldn’t be more grateful. (I insisted on formal with a splash of orange—and we delivered 😎🧡) Making Playin’ Around was one of my favorite experiences at NYU where I embraced my love of the action genre and got to work with some of my favorite people ever. I truly could not have done it without each and every single one of my collaborators. To see the film be recognized this past year at various festivals and then to top it off with the DGA has truly been such a crazy ride. This is all due to the hardworking people I’m thankful to call my friends. Thank you — let’s do it again soon 👊👊
