Pretty sure it has taken me the full year to process all those feelings from last year’s Oliviers. Some serious core memories have been flooding back with the run up to this year’s awards.

My heart is so full of gratitude for the brilliant, generous and kind creators of @benjaminbuttonmusical

For the extraordinary brave souls who, shoulder to shoulder, brought it, every night, for our beautiful audiences.

For the wall of sound as we stepped onto that RAH stage, which was like surfing a wave of love.

For my beautiful ruffle boa and dress by the incredibly talented @wilmahickeyheel and @sophie_ace_aldred

We are, I believe, all still walking a little on air, because of that day. And that year.

It’s going to be a wonderful evening celebrating Maury with some wonderful friends who just happen to be some of the greatest talents of the Theatre. It’s also incredibly special to me that the concert benefits Bowel Cancer UK. As someone who has been twice diagnosed and lived to tell the tale, it’s important for me to celebrate the work of Bowel Cancer UK, to bring awareness of this charity and illness, but also to show that because of their work and support I’ve lived and proven there can be life after a cancer diagnosis. #sailon #bowelcanceruk #mauryyeston #lwtheatres #raminkarimloo
