POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey Folks! I hope everyone is doing ok out there. I’ve been a bit absent on here but I’ve been SUPER busy and have a lot of new stuff to share…. This is the first one! I was scheduled to make a ‘They Live’ poster for a screening at the fantastic @massminicon However we had some issues with final approval so I had to do a quick switcheroo and punch this out in record time. Thankfully the original sketch was approved a long time ago so we managed to get it out the door in time. It was a bunch of fun to make these, I’d wanted to draw this scene forever! These 24x36” screenprints are now available through my good buddies @codacurates in both a regular and a rainbow foil. You’ll find a link in their bio but get in quick as there are only limited numbers left. I will likely have a few AP’s down the track also. Cheers x #screenprinting #muppetmovie #codacurates #kentaylorart #illustration

What a full month! So much beauty and fun to be had in September. It’s always funny to me when I’m like: “wow, I really wasn’t outside that much.” And indeed— I was🫡

The lesson of this month really seemed to be: “just say yes”. This is a usual philosophy in my life/ I am the ultimate side quest warrior. But in a way that felt different . In wanting to cocoon in my grief or general depressive state, I instead forced myself to balance that with being present in things that give me joy. I love movies, music, community, good coffee and food, etc. Y’all know this! So this month was made easier by so many of you just inviting me to things, holding space for my curiosity and excitement, and trusting in my journey as your fav Boston content creator ❤️ thank yewwww

Awesome artists offered prints, posters, accessories, cards, vinyl records and more at the annual MassMiniCon @massminicon in the GBH event space, Brighton, Mass. on September 12-13.
I bought a poster from Daniel Danger @tinymediaempire , prints from Janie Stapleton @st.janie , and prints of National Park artwork by
Aaron Wood @aaronwooddesigns
Aaron’s designs are also available at Assemble @assemblenorthampton
in Northampton, a Scenic Shopping town in western Mass.
I loved seeing their work plus learning about their process in one of the lectures. Check it out next year! 🎨🖼️🛍️

I'm officially back in the UK after what has been an incredible weekend at @massminicon! Thank you so much for having me and organising such a wonderful weekend Jeff, Jess and everyone who made it happen! It felt so surreal being amongst such an incredibly talented bunch of people and I was made to feel so welcome by everyone there. I feel incredibly lucky and humbled to have been involved!

Thanks to @jamesjamesjames_creative and Jess for being amazing travel buddies and to @spacemuseum and @vibestyle for being the best table neighbours!

Thank you to everyone who came by to show your support and say hello! I had the bestest time seeing so many of you and meeting many new faces!

Here's hoping we can make it for 2027!

What an incredible weekend. Thank you so much to Jeff, Jess and everybody involved in making this a weekend to remember! We had such a blast and are so honoured to have been a part of it. It was brilliant to meet so many of our collectors over in the US as well as hangout with all the amazing artists 😄

If you couldn't make it to Mass Mini Con, you’ll have a chance to grab leftover prints online! All prints will be available from our home page, from Mon 21st Sep 6pm UK / 1pm ET / 10 am PT 👀

This includes our MMC exclusives from Morgan Girvin and Mark Levy, plus we're now able to make the last available The Odyssey prints by Greg Ruth and McLaren by Matt Taylor available on our site. These have VERY small quantities left, so be quick!

Still riding the high from my first Mass Mini Con. The only word to properly describe it is “special.” No other convention like it and easily my new favorite.

Great conversation on love for horror movies and the process of creating original horror art.

Fun panel on a company / artist that i did not realize i had seen their art everywhere!

Very entertaining interview of Akiko Stehrenberger and her career. Next year Mass Mini Con should have pocket potatos in every VIP bag.

Damn this was a cool theater and perfect atmosphere for a mystery movie screening.

Really, really committing to the bit. Largest crowd ever gathered in a room excited for Madame Web merch.

First time seeing Akira and it was something!

Matthew Woodson never misses.

I now own more Madame Web merch than Spider-Man merch thanks to @massminicon.

Love these Aaron Wood mini prints and Aztec design stickers from Jorge Garza.

Amazing GMK and Frankenstein conquers a city print from Blacksmith press. The Frankenstein print has a felt-like material that makes the black colors richer and darker. Very unique and really nice dudes. Would love to see them do a The Fly (1958) print with the felt material.

Stoked to pick up a couple prints of my favorite horror franchise, Friday the 13th. Gary’s Jason X print is just beautiful and Sara Deck’s Part 7 print is just perfect. I think it features more blood than the actual movie does.
Also cool bumping into Garrett of the Born2BeRad YouTube channel and talking about collecting AMP’s.

Adore this Late Night with the Devil print from Sara Deck the more I look at it. She had another edition of this print that had a more Halloween colorway that was also great. Definitely getting this on the wall in October.

So happy to finally add this Angels with Filthier Souls (Home Alone 2) print to my collection. It’s load with Easter eggs like an ornament of the electrified Marv Skull 😂😂😂.

Pictures do not do this Interstellar print from CA Martin justice. It has texture and subtle glitter/sparkle to make it really pop. She also included a cut out from an original edition she made. Fa

spent the weekend in boston with a bunch of friends @massminicon

big thank you to @xvivahatex @jessicat_lin and all of the incredible volunteers who continually put on a bigger and better show every year. we hosted our third mystery movie, and another project with my dude @gstkoglobal. the posters arrived 6 hours before the screening. it was another opportunity to appreciate and be grateful for the village it takes to put something fun together for each other and for others. massive thanks to @native_screenprintco and @themooseyeti for being the heroes of the weekend.

thank you to everyone who came by the booth, the screening, and made the show that much better.

i wish i took more pictures. we’ll do it again next year.
