Yesterday in the club we read Wade's story. A sprawling 30 pager. Wade's piece gets a score of whole lotta fun/5 books. It was simultaneously badass and nonsensical. Wade's main character "Donnie" or "Don" or I presume "Donald" was a hero of epic proportions. Riding around on a motorcycle, shirt: OPTIONAL! There were passages that were beautiful and simplistically revealing. HOWEVER, Wade, at times, failed to grasp the concept of women. Lola and Marina explained it to him and he seemed like he was loving it! That brings me to Wade's character. Wade was responsive, open to criticism and smiley, and wore a little black hat that looked fantastic on him. Genuinely Wade was passionate and a blast to have in the club and I’m very happy he gave us this story. He wrote down all of our notes in a little black notebook and he seemed to really care. Wade was a much better sport than Lola who ironically had to scream at him again to show him that women, in life and in fiction, can and love doing stuff and being people. Hats off to Wade. This was a fun one!
