🥊❤️ “IT WOULD BE LIKE WINNING A WORLD TITLE.”

Sometimes the most powerful words come straight from the heart.

While visiting the legendary Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, we asked Junior “Poison” Jones a simple question…

“What would it mean to you to be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame?”

His response said it all…

“It would mean the world to me. It would be like winning a world title.”

Think about that. A man who has already conquered the world of boxing as a two-division World Champion still has one more dream he’d love to see come true.

Junior has already done his fighting. His accomplishments are forever etched in boxing history.

Now it’s time for the recognition. 🥊

To the writers and electors with a vote, we respectfully ask that you give Junior “Poison” Jones your consideration for the Class of 2027.

WE DIDN’T COME THIS FAR TO NOT GET IN! 🔥

🇬🇭 And why is Ghana getting a nod for putting on some big boxing nights?

Chisora doesn't hold back as he shares his perspective on the opportunities, challenges and governance issues shaping boxing on the continent.

Would this be the anniversary of The Great fight between Leonard and Hearn? Let’s look at Angelo Dundee was the famed boxing trainer and cornerman who guided “Sugar” Ray Leonard, a relationship that began after Leonard’s 1976 Olympic gold medal win. Dundee famously spurred Leonard on with the iconic “You’re blowing it!” during his legendary 1981 fight against Thomas Hearns, a moment that helped lead to Leonard’s comeback victory. Muhammad Ali also advised Leonard to have Dundee as his trainer when he turned professional, highlighting the strong relationship between the trainer and his fighters.

Absolutely gutted for Conor Benn as I desperately wanted him to Win but this is Boxing and it was evident that there are levels in this sport but without making excuses I really do believe that the weight cut had a major part to play. Myself and @masterboxing spoke about our concerns a few days before the fight, but this is not to take away anything @kingryan as he fought a brilliant fight I am so looking forward to him and @teofimolopez getting it on in a massive unification bout 🔥

A lot of people are talking about Conor Benn making weight for this fight versus @kingryan like that is the only factor of concern the Man has a professional team in @tonysims_ and @nigelbennofficial they know how to cut weight so let’s see. Who you got and how? Big watch along with @tundeajayi9 and yours truly 🔥
