2026 Gridiron Arena was an absolute slapper of a match! Great stages and staff at @lindencompetitiveshooting as always and my squad was filled with some good dudes 🤙🏾 Aside from a couple of bone-headed mistakes (one during a reshoot 🤦🏾‍♂️), I shot a relatively clean match. BUT the most important part of the match were the takeaways to implement into my training going forward.

1) Step on the gas a little harder and get more aggressive in movement.
2) More visual patience on small steel.

All in all, finished 89/289 shooters overall and 27/86 in Limited Optics A:221 C:42 D:1 NS:2 Total Time: 243.31

Happy with my aggression this weekend, but I need to stop over confirming so much. Need to get off the target faster.

Stage 11: Back Down to the Mines.
My first stage at IPSC Nats on Friday. I didn’t get a great look at the swinger during walkthroughs and thought it released faster than it did. In hindsight I should’ve activated shot the open paper then the swinger. Reloads from behind the hip bone were definitely different and you can see me struggle with it on this stage. They got better across the match but still had some bobbles/poor reloads.

Pulled off another Overall Win at @mountaincitypracticalshooters this Thursday! The stages are always so much fun! This week was a little burnerish which lately I’ve been super focussed on seeing my dot every hit so the burners have been a struggle but I felt so locked in all night! I was so happy with my times and hits! Except stage 2 where I sent 2 over shoulders from not letting the dot settle haha.
