Just another beautiful dinner in the mountains! It was a hot day, but right after sunset, the weather cooled down and an amazing meal was prepared for a group of amazing people! So blessed and thankful for every opportunity like this. I couldn’t have done it without my team! 🙏🙏

2026 is already BUSY in the best way 🥹✨
Cooking for several amazing clients—new faces, past clients, and referrals—and feeling incredibly blessed to do what I love.

For those who are new here 👋 I’m Cheryl, a personal chef up here in the mountains 🌲⛰️ and I also travel down the hill to cook in your homes in Los Angeles, Orange County, or wherever you’re visiting from.

I love welcoming people into my community, creating beautiful meals, and showing clients (new and returning) exactly what I can do—always aiming to wow you with food that’s both stunning and insanely delicious.

So grateful. So thankful. And so excited for what’s ahead 💫 #PrivateChef #MountainChef #CrestlineChef #LakeArrowhead

Cooking Around the World: Egyptian Koushary 🇪🇬

I kicked off my New Year’s goal of making dishes from around the world with a flavorful and comforting Egyptian street food favorite — Koushary! 🍚🍝🧅 This hearty dish is a delicious combination of rice, lentils, and pasta topped with a spiced tomato sauce, crispy fried onions, and a sprinkle of chickpeas. Every bite is a burst of texture and flavor!

✨ My goal this year is to explore different cultures through food, learning about traditions and techniques while sharing these meals with friends and family. There’s no better way to connect than over a shared meal!

📸 Check out my photos and videos of the cooking process — from frying the onions to layering the dish. It was so fun, and the result was amazing!

I can’t wait to continue this journey and experience more global flavors. Next up, who knows? Any suggestions? Let me know your favorite dish from around the world!
