"You can call it the art of fighting, without fighting”

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Confession: I did an “Irish goodbye” in 2012 to go to California and stay with a brain specialist for 4 months. I had symptoms of tbi and didn’t know why my life was falling apart. No hard feelings though, and it’s nice to see my picture still up on the wall. I have fond memories of my coach Ray Longo. He’s a traditional martial artist, full of honor, respect, and fun to be around. I hope to go back one day when I can be proud of my accomplishments as a promoter and show him how thankful I am for what he did- late nights and off days, teaching me to push beyond my threshold. I took those lessons with me and still train hard to fight for my life- to fix MMA for the long term future, not just to make a quick buck for someone else spilling blood in a cage like an animal. Martial arts teaches us to develop our strengths, transform weaknesses, and protect the innocent. My league is the future of MMA. September 10th Long Island Championship msg me to get involved
