*UPDATE: This event has been postponed.*

A nation’s hope, painted in light.

UKRAINIAN DREAMS brings the fantastical beasts of Maria Prymachenko to life, a giant projection lighting up Cooper Square, set to live Ukrainian folk song. Kyiv artist Tais Poda animates Maria Prymachenko’s masterpieces using projection mapping, an electroacoustic score, and live voices from MasterVoices.

She was her country’s most beloved artist, once printed on stamps and coins. Today her work is at risk from the invasion, and Ukrainian Dreams keeps it moving, glowing, and seen.

September 25 + 26 at Cooper Square. Free and open to the public.

Originally commissioned and produced by Culture Liverpool and FESTIVAL.ORG, with funding from Arts Council England and Royal Albert Dock Liverpool. With Cooper Union, Grace Church School, and The Ukrainian Museum.

Follow along for more, link in bio.

Citizen Arts International is produced in partnership with @citizenarts and @ukrainianmuseum, in affiliation with @socialpracticecuny, with special thanks to @phdtheatregradcentercuny @thegraduatecenter.

breaking world records with my friend Joe 😗✌🏼

had the bestest time singing at Radio City for 7 nights- being able to hear his music every night and discovering layers for each piece was so exciting. I’m so grateful for the experience and to have met such beautiful people!!🫶🏼

The 2026–2027 Beth Morrison Projects season is here.

New York. Los Angeles. And beyond.

A season spanning world premieres, PROTOTYPE Festival, the return of VOX, immersive performance, new works in development and collaborations with leading artists and institutions across the country.

For more than 20 years, BMP has been building the future of opera-theatre and music-theatre. This season shows just how far that work can travel.

Before I announce my 26/27 performance season, I want to take a moment and reflect on how lucky I was to have an absolutely unbelievable 25/26 season. It included a return to my favorite opera of all time, 5 house debuts including a historic debut and a world premiere, plus 4 returns to some of my favorite companies. But my favorite part of the 25/26 season?.. THE PEOPLE! I consider myself one of the luckiest people on earth, and a big part of that is because I get to work with the best artists, professionals, and people this business has to offer. I met so many new people that almost instantly became friends and also reconnected with long time friends that this business blessed me with years ago. There’s so much to be grateful for this past season, but I’m most thankful for the people that made it all possible. ♥️ @riccardo.fassi.opera @hongni.wu @tenor_vs_wild @patrickcarfizzi @catherineacook @olivierzero @suefleur_22 @collette_berg @emiliosagi @matthew_shilvock @sekgapane.official @mariakataeva.mezzo @barihopkins1 @benmanisconductor @fultonofun @sfoperaorchestra
