A special [ Puffer ] Cushion. A limited collaboration between designer Matan Fadida and artist Kevin Dong sees a unique take on the classic cushion you all love. The hand drawn artwork by Kevin Dong from his “Snow on the path” exhibition has been printed onto a durable white vinyl, an intriguing combination of form and graphic detail when paired with the curved ridges of the cushion. Handmade by Matan here in Auckland and finished to the highest standard. Printed artwork on the front face, plain white vinyl on the other. Just 4 of these were produced.

Back in action this week with the first new capsule of pieces since the doors in Newmarket closed at the end of last month! It’s been nice to take some time to reflect on the space, re-centre the vision and above all else, spend the extra time I have sourcing only the best designs from this century and the last. 8 products just added the the website, some real hard-hitters in the mix with plenty more to come. Star of the show this week is the black 81B Artek coffee table, designed in 1933 by Alvar Aalto. Styled out with a bunch of the other new items available online including the sleek new blackened aluminium incense holder from Matan Fadida and this vintage 1980s Stilnovo clamp lamp. All shot in the new Kiosk HQ, it’s nice to change up the background for the first time in a while.

@matan_fadida Now Available at Domicile.

The 3D Knit Stool, designed and produced by Matan Fadida. One of his earliest creations, this 3-legged stool offers a unique material palette. 3 chromed stainless steel legs support a gently rounded plywood seat, wrapped in an intriguing 3D knitted Merino wool cover. An effective combination that feels simple yet uniquely intricate when observing the knitted texture up close. Produced in very small quantities, this is the last remaining stool on the market.
