@matchalove I thought this was water infused with matcha 😂

Buuuuut when I realized what it was, I HAD to try it out! Found it at a 7-Eleven and ended up getting another one the next day!

If you can drink matcha straight, 10/10 recommend this. 😋

🍓 Strawberry Matcha 🍵 Cream Sando (Ichigo Sando) 🍓
Perfect Rainy Weekend Recipe: My dreamy Japanese-style fruit sandwich made with soft shokupan, whipped matcha cream, and fresh strawberries. 🇯🇵🤩🩷 SAVE this recipe

Ingredients (2 Sandwiches 🍞)

4 slices soft milk bread (shokupan or brioche)

1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled

1 ½ tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon Matcha Love powder @matchalove (https://www.instagram.com/matchalove/)

2 tablespoons mascarpone (optional, for richness)

14 fresh strawberries, washed and dried

Instructions
Prep strawberries by washing, drying, and trimming the stems so they sit flat (keep them whole).

In a chilled bowl, whip 1 cup heavy cream, 1½ tablespoons sugar, and 1 teaspoon matcha until soft peaks form. Fold in 2 tablespoons mascarpone for a velvety texture.

Spread a thick layer of matcha whipped cream on one slice of bread. Arrange the strawberries in a line or cluster pattern.

Spoon more cream over the strawberries, filling gaps to create a smooth surface. Top with the second slice of bread and gently press to seal.

Wrap tightly in plastic and refrigerate or freeze for about 20 minutes to set and make slicing cleaner.

Unwrap, trim the crust and slice in half, revealing the vibrant green matcha cream and perfect strawberry cross-section.

Soft, simple, and so kirei: the essence of Japanese dessert minimalism.

🎒✨ BACK-TO-SCHOOL SHOPPING, BUT MAKE IT ASIAN GROCERY STYLE! 🇨🇳🇰🇷🇯🇵🇭🇰

Forget standard notebook shopping, I headed to @FoodyWorldGTA to stock up on the actual school essentials: viral Asian snacks and cult-favorite skincare!

If your backpack isn’t stuffed with spicy snacks, shaking-cap matcha teas, and premium sheet masks, are you even ready for semester stress?

Here is my ultimate Back-to-School survival haul from my latest trip:

✨ THE SNACK ISLE: Stocking up on classic @Lays’ international flavors (sizzling squid flavor hit the spot!), those viral shaking matcha teas from @MatchaLove x @ItoEn, and massive bags of flaky green onion pancakes for quick late-night study fuel.

✨ THE BEAUTY ISLE: Late-night study sessions mean fighting off dark circles and tired pores. I grabbed the award-winning Keana Nadeshiko Rice Masks @IshizawaLab, thick disposable face towels @Amortals.Official.CN and White Musk body wash @happyBath.Official to keep that glass-skin glow all semester long.

Why study hard when you can snack harder and look flawless doing it? 💅
