🍵𝐅𝐥𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚🍵

Happy Monday everyone! If you saw my stories recently, you might have seen that I got a beautiful matcha set from @matchakari a bit ago! So, this week I’m dedicating three matcha recipes all made with @matchakari’s delicious tasting matcha!😋🍵

Today I made a fluffy salted maple matcha that’s not too sweet and tastes sort of like a salted caramel matcha. It’s super simple to make and yet it tastes nice and luxurious!🤤☁️

Recipe
- 1 tsp matcha from @matchakari
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1-2 tsp maple syrup

- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Ice

1. In a bowl, sift in matcha. Pour in hot water and 1-2 tsp maple syrup and whisk until combined and frothy.

2. In a small French Press (or you can use a cup and an electric whisk), add in milk, 1 tsp maple syrup, and a pinch or two of salt. Press the French press together until the milk becomes very foamy and fluffy.

3. In a glass, add in ice. Pour the fluffy milk in then top it off with the matcha. Enjoy!💚☁️

Just the other day, I got some blueberry butterfly tea from the lovely @ultraviolet! Not only is this tea so aesthetically pleasing (just look at that sparkling blue!!💙✨) but it’s also super duper delicious!! It tastes divine by itself and with milk and sugar!

Recipe:
- 1 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 blueberry butterfly tea bag
- Butterfly pea flowers
- Sugar and milk (optional)

1. Steep the blueberry butterfly tea bag and a small handful of butterfly pea flowers in the hot water for 5-10 minutes. The more you steep it, the bluer and stronger the tea will be.

2. Strain the tea bag and the flowers from the tea. Pour the tea into a mug and add sugar and foamy milk if desired. Enjoy! 💙🤍

This food made me HAPPY! 😄

Happy Pho Time / 📍Bonney Lake, WA

Hello foodie friends! I’ve been super busy moving into my new apartment and starting my junior year of college! Before I went back to Arizona, I had a very fun family day with my cousins at Lake Tapps. After a day on the lake we came here for dinner and it hit the SPOT!

🍝 Chicken Pad Thai
🍊 Orange Chicken
🍜 Steak and Brisket Pho

Our server was very kind and service was great. After a long day in the sun this food was what I needed! The portions are large and they also have lunch specials. If you ever find yourself out in Bonney Lake, try this place! 😊

DUMPLINGS + DINNER FROM DOUGH ZONE 🥟🥢

Dough Zone / 📍Renton, WA

When I’m home I love getting my Asian food fix, and I’ve been doing just that 😍 Dough Zone is my favorite neighborhood spot to get dumplings. This place just happens to be a 5 minute drive from my house! Located at The Landing, this spot is so convenient! 🤩

🥟 Pork Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings)
🥟 Pork and Shrimp Potstickers
🍜 Dan Dan Noodles
🍜 Minced Pork Noodles

The main event was obviously the Xiao Long Baos. Xiao Long Bao is a soft dumpling filled with filling (in this case pork) AND warm soup broth! it’s one of my favorite dishes. At Dough Zone, one order comes with 6 dumplings. While this is normally shared among the table, my mom, sister and I each ordered our own serving of them since they are so good (Seriously, I wanted 6 to myself!) 🤤 Everything was great. I love how the potstickers are fried and both noodle dishes were very flavorful.😍

So glad to have a spot like this so close to home 😊🏠
