a bowl of swirling water
an invitation to whisper a wish
a room that listens

Wishing Well is an immersive installation where light, sound and desire come together in a contemporary ritual, translating the ancient gesture of the wishing well into a living and responsive space.
through the use of a sensor, each wish whispered into the bowl became part of a larger movement of light and sound rippling through the room, generating a magical feeling around an intimate gesture.

@mate_teo_’s practice sits at the intersection of digital manipulation and natural environments. Working with abstract motion, glitch processes, and immersive visuals, he reframes landscapes, organic textures, and elemental forms through a contemporary digital lens. Nature is not a backdrop in his work, but a collaborator, fragmented, reassembled, and reinterpreted through code and rhythm. His images explore tension and balance between the synthetic and the organic, reflecting on how technology reshapes our perception of the world around us. Matteo’s work speaks to a generation navigating hybrid realities, where physical environments and digital spaces continuously inform one another.

Watch out for the Future of Creativity!🌊

$The @mate_teo_ files 💻 Matteo is a Brussels-based glitch artist and visual creator. Working with datamoshing, TouchDesigner, and old video software, he uses deliberate error and distortion to bend and fracture reality until something raw and unexpected comes through. “Glitch is my form of freedom, a way to escape perfectionism and to disrupt control, while bringing out the beauty in what’s left behind” Who should we highlight next?$
