Not every woman in Frankfurt has a home.
Some don’t even have a shower. 🚿

After a shoot, we had leftover feminine hygiene products. Instead of throwing them away, our client let us donate them to the Zentrum für Frauen, the Women’s Center run by Diakonie Frankfurt.

It was a nice moment for us at Orange Monkey. But this post is not about us. It is about the place itself.

The Zentrum für Frauen at Alfred-Brehm-Platz has been a safe space for over 100 years, for women in Frankfurt who live on the streets, work on the streets, or simply have no money.

Hygiene products. A shower. Clean clothes. Things most of us never think twice about, for many of these women, none of it is a given. For many, this center is the one place they get that. And someone to talk to, without being judged.

You can walk through this city every day and not see how close some people live to the edge. Places like this catch what falls through the cracks. 🧡

Want to help? Donations, supplies, or just spreading the word.
