Sweet baby boy Chief passed away this weekend. When @matefeedart and I started dating, Chiefy was already his baby and he very quickly became mine too. Cheem was an absolute angel who was terrible at catching treats and the best at cuddles. I’m going to miss the way he would politely give me a single kiss on the chin cause he knew I didn’t like face licks, and the way he would hide his good eye in blankets when it was too bright while sleeping. He hated when it rained but loved playing in water so much. He was so scared of going to the vet/getting his nails trimmed but would bravely get in the bath even though he really didn’t want to. He loved when we were sick and stayed in bed all day, he loved long car rides and sun bathing til his lil belly turned pink, he loved getting tucked under blankets and laying in our suitcases when we got back from trips. Most of all, he loved when all his favorite people were together in one room. Sir Cheesy Chiefton Beefton Burrito Frito The Second wanted nothing more than to be loved and I feel so lucky I got to do just that. I think he knew how loved he was but that sadly doesn’t make this any easier. We really don’t get enough time with our pets in this life. Pls give your babies extra snuggles and treats today in honor of Chief.
