Just a little teaser from a recent shoot with Santa Fe artist 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙑𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙣-𝙂𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙧. @jblairvg

Blair’s practice is built around process. She uses mark marking, repetition, erasure, accumulation and the viscosity of the paint itself to bring her work to life. It truly was fascinating watching her work and listening to her talk about her process.

Stay tuned for her full Artist Video in the coming weeks! 🎥

You can see Blair’s work in-person @materiality_santafe in the Delgado Street art district just steps off Canyon Road. #santafeartist

⭐️ New Artist Doc: 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗲𝗿𝘁 ⭐️ “𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦.” ⛰️ @ginniecappaert

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Ginnie in her Santa Fe studio while she was in town for the Winter months. Her abstract landscape paintings invite you to slow down, and truly take in the feeling of immersing yourself in nature.

You can find her work year-round at @materiality_santafe in the Delgado Street art district just steps off Canyon Road. And if you’re in Door County, WI you can find her at @cappaertcontemporarygallery May - October.

Crossed New Mexico off the list of states to visit this week (41/50 complete) & had such a lovely vacation. We spent time in Santa Fe, visited the Taos Pueblo, got our kicks on Route 66, found the Rio Grande, drove by Walter White’s house in Albuquerque and met local artisans everywhere we went.
