Hi friends!! Its me - Mateyah.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved creating meaningful experiences for the people around me. Whether it's planning a birthday celebration, designing invitations, coordinating decorations, or bringing a vision to life, I find so much joy in creating moments that make people feel special.

Over the years, I've planned family celebrations, coordinated venues, hosted themed gatherings, created custom invitations, and transformed spaces for birthdays, bridal events, and special occasions. What started as a passion for celebrating loved ones has grown into something I want to share with others.

That's why I am creating Gathered by Teyah.

My goal is simple: to help create gatherings that feel beautiful, intentional, and memorable while taking some of the stress off your plate.

Today is my last day at Hotel Bellwether — and my farewell to the hospitality industry.
This hotel has been home and safe place since I was 18. From graduation to my wedding, it’s been my constant. The people I’ve met here became family, and the connections we built are the kind you don’t find just anywhere.
I’m forever grateful for the chaos — the system crashes, rude guests, cold shift meals, dirty rooms, night audits, BBBBQs, mac salad, running boards, and all the in-between moments that shaped my time here. Through it all, I got to create magic with my team for people from all over the world.
Hospitality will always be at the heart of what I do. Please remember to be kind to service workers — your favorite restaurants and hotels are powered by immigrants, minorities, students, and mothers working so damn hard❤️
