[English] Bruno’s accident happened at around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, in downtown Cork, on Sullivan’s Quay, near The South Gate and Fordes Bar. Bruno was stopped at a traffic light, waiting for it to turn green, when a van behind him began accelerating and revving loudly, appearing to be driven in a very aggressive manner. As soon as the light changed, the van moved forward and ran over Bruno, leaving him seriously injured. Unfortunately, the driver did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene. On Tuesday, August 12, Bruno underwent surgery because of his injuries. He suffered a deep laceration to his back and a severe fracture of the femur in his left leg. During the procedure, doctors inserted metal pins and stitched the wound, which required numerous internal and external sutures due to its severity.
