Part 1: My team.

I wouldn’t be able to fit everything I feel I have to say into one post so you get two. This one is about my beautiful team.

I’ve always thought about what I would say the day that dance finally ended, the day I took my last bow, or the day I hugged Christine one last time. I could never fathom how quickly that day would come. How my time would come to an end almost faster than the long rehearsal nights.

KMC has been a home of mine for almost a decade and a half. I started as a tiny baby and grew to become more confident in myself and a much better dancer. However, I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish what I have without my amazing team.

Starlettes~ Mira, Helen, Teags, Kenley, Ruby, Brenna, Auroura you are the people who make it worth it. This studio would not have felt like home if it wasn’t for my amazing friend who I now could call my sisters. Leaving you is the hardest thing.

This goodbye is so hard to put into words but for my junior and sophomore friends, I will be back. For my middle school and younger friends that I had the pleasure of knowing for a while.. you’re gonna get sick of seeing me at recitals.

I built a home here. Even though my time has come and it has turned to dust, I will never forget every laugh, every inside joke, and every memory that I will cherish forever. (Dang it I just stopped crying)
