To everyone who has contributed in some way towards my art in the past three years: whether it’s been making the videos, playing in the bands, answering the admin questions, taking the photo, sharing the posts, playing the songs, pulling the favours, buying the merch - thank you thank you thank you. My gratitude is endless.

Special thank yous to @veryhandsomebilly and my mum @jossyflossyjam for giving your time so generously without question.

The biggest thank you of course goes to my ride or die ECB @emily.c.browning - I love you so much my friend and I’m so extremely proud of what we have achieved together. I could go on but I’ll do that in another post (lol).

Go get it on Bandcamp or listen wherever you stream. Best enjoyed from start to finish xxx

4 years ago to the day we released our debut album b? — it was a 5+ year labor of love, sweat and tears. I fail to remember every moment of what it took to breathe this universe into existence, but I do remember living and recording with Frantz in our Main Street apartment in Flushing at all hours of the night, finishing a Sunday LA studio session at 9pm then hopping on the red-eye to be at our respective jobs in NYC at 7am, mixing songs in Frantz’s Nissan Sentra, not knowing anything, learning as much as we could, the endless phone calls and FaceTimes with Andrew, losing sleep, writing horrible songs, and loving the process all the way through. I remember Frantz and I were really sad after we put the album out into the world because we had nothing to obsess over anymore. But I also remember feeling awestruck in the weeks after, because b? took on a life of its own. Once you make something and put it out there it is no longer yours — it belongs to the world, and every single human who interacts with it creates a new universe of existence, ideas, emotions, and depth that cannot be replicated by technology. No matter how many lakes they try to empty in the name of AI. 50+ million streams later and the b? universe is as much a part of everyone who listens (and continues to) as it was when the songs were just random nerve endings in Frantz’s brain and mine. Thanks for being part of the story, for being part of this shared wrinkle in time, and thanks for listening. I know I say this a lot but we have new music coming in 2026 — it’s the continuation of this universe we continue to build and share. Okay, I’m not allowed to say anything else. Love you, bye — Mike, Frantz, & Andrew
