We are still riding the high from our blissful week at @pachydermstudios - such a special group! Huge thank you to the one of a kind human that is @bradleycook for your deep wisdom, inherent generosity, and endless warmth throughout the week. Massive thank you as well to @paulvoran for your work, patience, and knowledge throughout the week.

And most of all so much gratitude to this incredible group of musicians and artists for being so willing to share their thoughts, ideas, and insane talents throughout the retreat. Can’t wait to see what comes next from this group.

As Brad would say, let’s go fuckers!

Next @atriumartists retreat just announced and you should come 🌀🌀

One of my biggest joys is helping put together these retreats for musicians producers songwriters artists etc to spend some time together making cool stuff and talking about real emotions.

And man do we have a real DOOZIE planned for the next one. Brad Cook aka one of the most soulful and talented producers out there is going to be our special guest! We’ll be in the Minnesotan woods in deep summer! There’s a pool! There’s hiking! There’s the studio where nirvana recorded “in utero!” There’s light therapy! There is the optional add-on to join for @eauxclaireswi after!

Applications just opened so go get after it

Come to Mexico with me to make music this November? We just launched our fall retreat with @atriumartists and I would love for some homies to come!

These retreats are for anyone who makes music full or part time and would repsond “neat, sign me up” when presented with the opportunity to go to a world-class studio to make music and goof off alongside other cool people and a grammy-winning producer. There will be karaoke, there will be nature walks, I will insist you add vibraphone (slide 3) to all of your tracks, and I will force you to play dice and gamble (slide 8) with me.

And I can definitely promise the vibes will better than the video ai generated (last slide) when I described the weekend. Can’t confirm how many seagulls there will be though..

I don’t know why you’d even need more info, but if you really insist here are details:
- 5 days at the beautiful @eltriangulo_mazunte in Oaxaca (!!!) November 5-10
- Studio time, mindfulness workshops, writing, jamming, and general creative shenanigans
- Workshops led by the one and only @iggywillinger and @cbstuart
- One-on-one studio time with legendary producer @congletonjohn

Pricing etc in in the @atriumartists bio but hit me up if you wanna talk about it!

🎵 shaping, taking - mathew antony

life’s a puzzle, some pieces go missing and you find them under the couch, or they fly to another continent and take new shape but you could always ask—where are you from? put video to sun’s song this day last year

An eventful year of screenings in Harkat Studios, Mumbai, Atta Galatta, Bangalore and Tien in Goa and the icing on the cake- our film was selected under the international feature documentary competition category at the second largest festival of cinema in Kerala with a 125 entries from 35 countries.

We are proud to announce that ‘Morisika: The Story of the Boatman’ won the best film award at the International Folklore Film Festival, a part of the International Film Festival, Thrissur, Kerala.

“The cinematic narrative weaves emotional struggles and the rhythmic dedication of ordinary people. The film’s visual beauty, cinematography, sound design and direction create a
stunning cinematic experience.”- the comments of the jury have left us proud and overwhelmed. It is a testimony to the fact that collaborative film making can be the future. So here’s to all of our non film making story tellers, @jeebdas , Ma, Dimbeshwar Da, Anup Da, Mohan Da (@makeup_artist_prajwalita ), @bahadurpradhan86 , Dangar Kai, Monobhai Da, Prabhir Khura, Bablu Da and Maya di. Thank you a thousand times over for participating in this little experiment of ours. Who knows? Maybe the rallying cry for call to action in 2025 will be hope? And to look for the extra ordinary in the ordinary.
