POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

my new album “ARE YOU EVER COMING BACK?” is officially yours. i’ve been working on this project for over a year now and i’m so proud of these songs. this album was created by leaving my comfort zone, exploring new sounds, and telling new stories. i hope you all love it and i hope it can mean as much to some of you as it does to me :)

now, i would be nothing if not for the wonderful and talented people i am lucky enough to work with so…

THIS ALBUM WOULD NOT EXIST WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE:

@mickey.brandolino who produced/wrote tracks 1-8, 10, 11 with me

almost one year of autonomy and I can’t believe it. This album healed me during the hardest year of my life. I poured my whole heart into creating a world that could house all of the feelings and experiences i was having and one year later despite the months that have passed, the world is still there. Sometimes i revisit that world, when i sing live, talk to you about your experiences with it or when i put it on just to walk down memory lane. I reminisce on it all and how much i have transformed. Sharing this album with you guys has been the most fulfilling experience i’ve had since i started releasing music and i’m forever grateful that my music found people who connect to that world. i’ve added some songs, one is called ‘credit roll’ which feels like the perfect ending to the autonomy chapter.

autonomy+ out July 3rd

its been one whole week of Slip! Here is my thank you to everyone who put their time and energy into this project :)

Brad, you are the glue that holds this project together, thank you for spending so many hours with me going over every inch of this project until it sounded just right. Thank you Mickey, Mathijs, Nigel, Kim, Tom and Ber for your indispensable production and writing talents. Extra thank you to Ber for lending your voice to some of these tracks as well :) Thank you Alec for the flawless masters as always.

So honored to get to work with one of my favorite visual artists, Ethan Cardenas, on the album art and a bunch of other little pieces of visual candy that came out of this project. You are the goat Ethan!

Thank you Sophia for your exquisite photos which were completely essential and totally unexpected to be so.

Thanks Zac for directing two beautiful music videos and for making me laugh all the time. Thank you Griffin for producing said videos and always being in my corner. And to everyone else who lent their time on set.

Thank you Camila for being the unsung hero of aforementioned music videos and for being dance instructor and choreographer and model and everything else I asked of you without complaining even once.

Thank you Lauren for being the most supportive sister and manager and helping me figure all of this out as we go.

I am a completely independent artist and this project comes from a place of loving real, honest art. This is only possible with the team of friends that I have around me that continue to amaze me with their support and talent again and again.

If you have taken the time to sit with this album from start to finish I'm truly so thankful. Slip, forever!!!!!!
