💥THROWBACK THURSDAY💥

Every horsegirl has ✨that horse✨ — the first one that doesn’t just carry you, but changes you.

For Mathilde, that horse was Darri frá Kolhar.

He wasn’t just Mathilde’s first Icelandic horse — he was her teacher, her partner, and the spark that lit a lifelong love for the breed.

Darri had presence. And when the world gathered in Holland for the World Championships 2017, together with Mathilde, Darri performed in a show — a moment filled with lights, applause, and pure Icelandic horse magic. 🌟

🎀✨COMPETITION SEASON?!✨🎀
Mathilde swears she’s aiming for ribbons this year… but somehow every show turns into a trail ride with Ýmir, her chaos-coded gelding and emotional support disaster.

Amazing food, dramatic landscapes and strong temperamental horses...Not bad Iceland. The roads are still nonsense, but...the horses 😍 #Icelandichorses #lavasand #easterniceland #easternfjords #exploreiceland
