📍MUSTIKKAMAA BEACH

7pm swims and picking fresh blueberries kind of summer in Finland 🇫🇮 @matiasvenemies

Mustikkamaa literally translates to “blueberry land”.

Mustikkamaa Beach (Mustikkamaan uimaranta) is a large, soft sand beach on Mustikkamaa Island. It is located approximately 5 km east of Helsinki’s city center.

I don’t want to keep bringing this up, but you truly forget how warm it can get in Finland because the winters are so long and dark 😭

You cherish every bit of warm weather and we have definitely been taking advantage of every warm day with swims and evening walks/bike rides🥹

Have you been here before?

If not, save this reel for your next visit😊🫶🏻

what people don’t see is all the behind the scenes moments and support my hubby has shown me.. 😭

In Finland it’s expected and very normal for the mother to go back to work as soon as the child is at daycare. However my hubby has been very supportive of my desires to be home as much as possible- and for me to go after this dream from day one…🥹

Don’t get me wrong- it has been financially tight for sure at times, but he has given me room to pursue my dreams which I do not take for granted or lightly at all.🫶🏻

So here’s to my hubby who has supported me through all of this ❤️

Love you and appreciate you @matiasvenemies 😘

we all mentally prepared ourselves for plenty of falls but the boys crushed them all 🔥 so proud of them!

the hubby @matiasvenemies took our 9yr old and 6yr old snowboarding for the first time two nights ago when there was no one around and they blew us away👌🏻

it’s safe to say they’re officially hooked 🤣🙌🏻

Daddy loves you so much, Leo ❤️ I know things will look a little different once your little bro comes, but remember that you are so so loved by Mummy, Daddy and Max (and of course most importantly, your Heavenly Daddy) 😍 You have a special gift in bringing laughter and joy to our family and we know you’re going to be the best big bro ever. Don’t ever change or settle for any less than how you are right now. We love you just the way you are little one 😘
