Senior Spotlight. #10 Matilde Kofoed
Matilde is planning on attending Georgia Tech and Wentworth Institute of Technology and majoring in architecture or industrial design. Her favorite volleyball memory is coming back her senior year, making amazing memories with energetic and positive teammates and coaches that make her feel welcome and comfortable. She loves this team and playing volleyball this year has redefined her definition of being a good teammate. She’s learned so much and gained so many skills so far! Her favorite snacks are chocolate covered gummy bears, hot cheetos and iced vanilla lattes! Matilde is a Danish dual citizen, has a black belt in Tar-kwon-do, and has 3 gold AAU National medals for karate. She can wiggle her ears, spin a ball on all of her fingertips and can eat a cupcake in one bite! Matilde’s advice for the underclassman is to “persevere through the hard times and build a hard-working character now. It will be all worth it.”
