Here is a little glimpse of our paint & sip night last night at the gallery. Our videographer friend @arrimc put this together for us and we think he’s excellent at what he does. Thank you, Arri! #panoplyfineartgallery #oldsacramento #tommatousek #paintandsip #sacramentoartgallery

About 10 years ago my Disney publisher, Disney Fine Art, did something really nice for me by having an article printed about me in Art World News magazine. As I thumbed through the magazine, I came across Peter Max’s Statue of Liberty painting, which inspired this Tom Waits piece, as well as this Steamboat Willie piece—in Max’s very Pop Art style. May you rest in peace Peter Max. The art world has lost a legend. Notice what happens to my Tom Waits piece when you turn it into a black and white image. It’s all about light value. #petermax #petermaxart #popart #tommatousek #tommatousekart
