Here is a little behind the scenes of my pad Work session with Britt who is a stunt performer and stunt actress so you know being able to work with these individuals is amazing because they are curious and they wanna learn and they wanna get better.

In this video, I’m talking to Britt about the importance of throwing your punches with good technique because how you throw one punch is going to dictate number one your head position and number two your positioning for the second shot that comes so when you’re throwing that right uppercut to six and you’re not transferring weight over to the lead leg, the body shot is gonna be awkward to throw, and your head’s not gonna be in the right position for a better defensive outcome.

Let's get it, locking in. I have a push workout for you today. This was yesterday's workout. Last night it was a push workout.

I have a program that I'm following where I'm working out about 5 times a week, which is sustainable for me: 4 to 5 times a week. I got 2 upper body days and then 2 lower body days. On upper body days I'm going to pair it with running. On lower body days I'm going to pair it with boxing because those are 2 forms of cardio that I need to have in my life. Running is more for the discipline and boxing is more for the soul, right? Lifting is for the physique and longevity.

Here's the workout breakdown below. Expect a lot more of these, a lot more boxing stuff for you to follow. I am going crazy with content starting now. I know I had a bit of a hiatus for the last 6 months but I have this creative juice back. I'm feeling good so let's lock in.

This is today's push workout:
- Bench press: 5 sets by 5 reps with 2 minutes' rest.
- Seated dumbbell shoulder press: 4 sets by 8 reps (8 to 10) with 2 minutes' rest.
- Bodyweight dips: 4 sets by 8 to 10 reps with 2 minutes' rest.
- Combining tricep rope extensions (3 sets by 10 to 12 reps) with dumbbell lateral raises (3 sets by 10 to 12 reps), with 90 seconds' rest.

For the running I ran 5 km on the treadmill at a good pace. Enjoy it, save it, share it, and I'll see you soon

Always a pleasure working with this kid! Such an athlete, he soaks up information like a sponge and one of the hardest working guy ever.

I love when kids love to learn and want to push themselves 🥊

👩‍🍳 Back Handspring Recipe (although we did other helpful drills that didn’t make it on the video!)

Ingredients:
- scap push ups
- plank pops
- back limbers
- handstand push pops
- spotted back handspring
- BHS with a towel over feet (goal is to keep the towel over the feet for the entire BHS - helps for those who bend their knees as they jump into the BHS)

There’s a few more things to clean up before progressing these to the floor, but it will come soon! 💚💪
