Public safety starts on the ground.

Yesterday, the Hollywood Chamber team and the @lapdhollywood hit the streets for day one of distributing our “How to Report Incidents in Hollywood” quick-reference guide, connecting directly with local businesses to make sure they have the tools and information they need, when they need it.

Created in partnership with the LAPD Hollywood Division, this guide is designed to simplify reporting, strengthen communication, and support a safer, more informed business community.

More to come as we continue reaching businesses across Hollywood.

🎉 Hollywood makes history! Our 2024 Installation Gala was a memorable evening, as the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce proudly welcomed Sarah Zurell, Chief Marketing Officer of CELS Brands, as the 2024/2025 Chair of the Board. The induction marks a milestone as she becomes the youngest female Chair in the Chamber’s history, sworn in by the Honorable Kathryn Barger, Los Angeles County Supervisor. Leading the charge for growth and positive change, here’s to an inspiring year ahead! 🌟

Exciting news for Hollywood!

The "Access to Hollywood" plan led by Hugo Soto-Martinez Councilmember for Council District 13 is set to transform Hollywood Boulevard into a world-class destination.

As Steve Nissen, our Chief Executive and President stated: "We are now on a great upswing.” He noted the rise of substantial investments in Hollywood, including a multimillion-dollar renovation of the iconic Capitol Records building, major companies moving their headquarters to Hollywood, and an historic $70 million commitment by Netflix to restore the century-old Egyptian Theater on the boulevard — the site of Hollywood’s first movie premiere event, in 1922.

With the $8 million plan to expand sidewalks, add bus lanes, protected bike lanes, and designated turning lanes, Hollywood Boulevard will become more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly.

The plan also focuses on pedestrian safety and expanding outdoor dining spaces, making Hollywood Boulevard a vibrant and inviting destination for locals, our business community, and visitors alike.

Hollywood boosters hope that these transportation improvements will be the beginning of a broader revitalization of Hollywood Boulevard, which could involve shutting the street to traffic more regularly and creating a pedestrian-friendly public space.

Please note that the spelling of the TCL Chinese Theatre in the graphic is incorrect, and Hollywood Sign is a registered mark with both words capitalized. We apologize for the oversights.
