Part 2 of the last post. After we gave the food out at the drop off location we went to see some of the regulars that I haven't seen in a while, driving around the city was unsettling, we picked up constant signals from the drone detectors and we could hear the artillery going back and forth in the distance. All the animals in the care of the people you see here are in great health, Maria, Marina and Olga go out of there way everyday to make sure the strays in the area are looked after, they risk there lives to make sure they have their basic needs met. Please support the work we do by donating using the link at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page, we cannot do it without your support, thank you. #dogslife #dogstagram #dogloversonly #dogsofinstagram #dogs #kittenlove #kitten #kit #kitten #straykitty #stray #strayanimals #straydogs

This will be a 2 part post due to the length of time in Kherson and amount of pictures. The day started early to try and avoid some of the drone traffic but unfortunately it did not work, while at the checkpoint to enter the city we were told it has been a bad morning and to not venture into certain areas. Past the checkpoint and 5 minutes down the only road into the city, both the mavic and FPV detector started picking up signals of drones in the area, we kept an eye in the sky and went to the drop off location, once arriving we where quickly met with the people that we had on the list and many more who needed our help, Yana quickly organised the queue into separate groups and we started to distribute the food to the people that we had been expecting, after helping the first group we started to find out what the new people needed, we found out how many animals they have in there care, sizes and any dietary needs, unfortunately we only had a couple of spare bags and the people had to share, we couldn't promise them the help they needed all we could say is we will try to do our best, we feel bad for these people who are under a immense amount of stress, risking their lives to try and get some food for there animals only to be told we can't help at the moment. Would like to see a massive thank you to @renmantoliver and the team at K9 rescue Ukraine, for the dog food for this trip, unfortunately the van full of food I brought over with me is now gone. We will try our best to get back to these people with the help they need, unfortunately we can't do it without your support, please donate using the link at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page. Part 2 of this trip will be added tomorrow, thank you everyone who has made it this far. #dogslife #dogstagram #doglife🐾 #dogloversonly #dogsofinstagram #dogaid #doglovers #dogadoption #feedtheanimals #feedthedog #feedthecats #catlovers #catlover #cats #cats_of_world #catlife #cat #catsofinstagram #aid #aidforukraine #khersoncity #humanitarian #straykitty #stray #strayanimals

Great to see the results from our first trip into Kherson, many animals are fed for another week, unfortunately there is currently not enough for everybody and all the animals in need, once again we are working on trying to source more food for the animals in the city. We urgently need your support to continue caring for animals in need in Kherson. Every donation makes a life saving difference. Please donate using the link at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page. Massive thank you once again yo K9 rescue Ukraine and the team for the van full of pet food, @renmantoliver, @deardriver1234 and Nick. #dogslife #dogstagram #doglife🐾 #dogloversonly #dogs #dogsofinsta #puppygram #dogaid #puppylove #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #catlovers #catlover #cats #cats_of_world #catlife #cat #kittenlove #kitten #kit #kittens #kitty

First trip back into Kherson and I have to admit it's a complete mess, the food run has expanded to a uncontrollable level that we cannot sustain for much longer, there are many animals in the city that are relying on the continued support from Lionel and myself, people were pushing and shoving trying to get to the limited amount of food that we have, after some blunt words Yana managed to get them into a line and calm the situation down. It is very hard to see the lengths and desperation set into the people of the front line city, aid is limited and the ability to work is hindered by constant drone strikes on civilians and artillery duels. We have resorted to cutting bags open for people to share because there just is not enough for everyone, we had one old lady start to pick up some dropped pellets of the floor because she needed to feed her pets so badly, it is very hard to watch and a harsh reminder of the daily struggles of the people in the city. With the food that was donated from k9 rescue Ukraine and the food that Lionel @warriors_of_wildlife has brought we gave out around £500 worth in 15mins, we still had people in the line that went home with nothing, we will try our best to help everyone but unfortunately at the moment it is simply not possible. While delivering the food we had the drone detectors going off just praying the Russians wouldn't hit a big group of mainly old women, but to be honest I wouldn't put it past them, Kherson is currently seeing a staggering amount of war crimes reported daily and it is only getting worse. Please donate to this cause, there are hundreds of animals depending of the food delivery that are being brought into the city by myself and @warriors_of_wildlife, we really need your help. Please use the links at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page. As a side note there were many more people who received food, we can only post 20 pictures on Instagram and we only post the faces of people that we have permission from. #dogslife #dogstagram #doğa #doglife🐾 #disableddogs #dogloversonly #dogsofinstagram #dogaid #catlovers #catlover #cats #cats_of_world #catlife #cat #puppygram #puppylove #puppiesofinstagram

I am back! Very happy to be here and to continue the work helping the animals in Kherson, Lionel has been doing an amazing job keeping the food run going, while also expanding and helping the people out with veterinary care and even delivering some food parcels to those in need. He is still not very good at documenting everything but it is difficult when he is alone. I would like to say a massive thank you to the team at @k9 rescue ukraine specially @renmantoliver Tom and Nick for filling up the van for this trip, also to everyone who has stuck around during my absence. I hope this trip we can do even more than those before, we can not do it without your support so please donate using the link at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page. As a safety precaution posts will be on a delay. The drone strikes in Kherson are daily and very unpredictable, they are venturing very deep into the city and the danger levels keep increasing. #dogslife #dogstagram #doğa #doglife🐾 #disableddogs #dogloversonly #dogsofinstagram #dogaid #catlovers #catlover #cats #cats_of_world #catlife #cat #puppygram #puppylove #puppiesofinstagram #puppy #aid #aidforukraine #feedthehungry #feedthecats #feedtheanimals #feedthedog #humanitarian #ukrainian_insta #khersoncity

Today we were woken up by a friend of Lionels with a warning, don't go into Kherson today. Last night's attack on the city was one of the worst for a long time, we have been told a attack is coming for a while now but fear it has began, there has been probing attacks across the river with Russians attempting to cross, the artillery and drone strikes through the night was at a extremely high frequency, with the attacks still continuing. We had made plans to go in today and have people and animals reliying on our delivery's, so we went to the checkpoint in Kherson to see if we where aloud in, after a small conversation they let us pass. We had never seen so many vehicles leaving Kherson, they where packed with all their belongings they could fit, we even saw a couple leaving by foot, attempting the long road to Mykolaiv while carrying the essentials, it was a strange and nerve racking experience entering the city while so many where leaving, the people of Kherson have been dealing with drones and artillery for a long time, they are used to this but even they are leaving after last night. As we entered the city it was clear the scale of the attacks, fresh damage was everywhere with debris scattered across the road, repairs on power cables for the buses and fire crews and locals cleaning up the streets, many ambulances where speeding away from the city while the artillery duels where still continuing. We managed to do most of our drops without any trouble, when we left Igor the drone detector went of and Lionel had to do some evasive driving, we have the drone jammer but didn't risk staying there, we got some distance between us and the reading and got to our next drop. We delivered +/-220kgs of dog and cat food and also some medical supplies for Mishka. Unfortunately Mishka's surgery has been postponed due to the heavy intense and continued shelling. The residents of the city have been left without electricity and therefore no chance to perform his operation. The cost of the pet food today has come to £260 plus £15 for medical supplies for Mishka on top of the £103 yesterday, we are still in desperate need of donations to continue helping the animals.

Warning sensitive content. Checkpoint Dog Kherson are the first 3 photos followed by photos and videos of Tsygan from Reni. The last video is really nice to see him getting the love, care and exercise he needs. If anyone wants to adopt him, please let me know. Checkpoint dog was hit by a car and as you can see in the xrays she had a badly fractured paw which will be operated on tomorrow. As of yet we dont have a vets bill but needless to say its going to be expensive. We will keep you updated. Currently, he is at a shelter in Chornobaivka on the outskirts of Kherson being cared for by Мария Гончаренко. We will provide food and after care medication to her so she can feed and care for the injured girl. Thank you Maria for the help. Tsygan has a open fracture due to being hit by a car, he is currently in Odesa after having been treated by a vet, he is staying in a dog treatment center for a month while he undergoes treatment and recovery. The cost to date is 2000uah($48.13) for transport from Reni to Odesa, 4500uah(108.30) for the care facility for 1 month, the vet bill is 3356uah ($80.77) plus food and meds to date 1238.75($29.81) He is currently doing well and getting all the love and care needed at the pet care center. We are already in for $303 USD but we know that another vet visit is scheduled and we think we need to keep him in care for another month before taking him back to Reni, a border town in SW Ukraine. Please donate using the link at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page, thank you. #dogslife #dogstagram #doglife🐾 #dogloversonly #dogsofinstagram #dogofinstagram #dogs #aid #aidforukraine #savethestreetdogs #savethestreetdogs #helpanimals #humanitarian #lovefordogs

The food situation for the strays is dire, we are extremely low on funds and will be unable to buy anymore after one more trip, as many of you know not much aid makes it to Kherson, the locals that look after the animals need constant support to keep up with there food requirements. Please help us help them by donating, the price of a coffee in England will get 5kg of dry food in Ukraine. I hate doing posts like this but unfortunately these are desperate times. We managed to get some food from Europe a few months ago but it is all gone, we still do not have a constant supply. #dogslife #dogstagram #doglife🐾 #dogloversonly #dogsofinstagram #dogsofinsta #dogs #catlovers #catlover #cats #cats_of_world #catlife #cat #catsofinstagram #stray #straykitty #strayanimals #straydogs #straycats #aid #aidforukraine #pets #petlovers #helpanimals

Another successful trip into the city, the animals on the island are fed for another week, we also saw Maria and gave her some more food, its been very wet and windy the last few day's but thankfully its not snowing. Some of the people are currently unable to take pictures due to the risk of drone attacks, we hear awful stories every time we go Into Kherson but they seem to be getting progressively worse. For most people this time of year is happy, surrounded by family, friends, love and joy, but not for us we will continue to work on through December to make sure the animals are fed, and to take some of the stress of the people who care for the strays. We had a strange experience today, listening to Christmas songs on the radio, while wearing body armour with artillery in the distance was a bit surreal, but made us laugh at our life choices. Please donate using the link at the top of mine or @warriors_of_wildlife page, so we can continue our work through the Christmas period. #dogslife #dogstagram #dogloversonly #doglife🐾 #dogsofinstagram #dogoftheday #dogaid #catlovers #catlover #cats #cats_of_world #aid #aidforukraine #savethecats #savethestreetdogs #savethedogs #savetheanimals #puppygram #puppylove #puppiesofinstagram #pup
