What a day! @hammer_dregs and @jakob_wright_the_future both had great performances in their exhibition bouts… They are improving every time they get in the ring, the nerves are settled and they are boxing beautifully. @archiesmith374 adapted as his tough and tricky opponent made him work hard for the win but Archie rose to the occasion winning a much deserved decision. @thunderthemelakis fought with raw emotion after the passing of her beloved grandfather yesterday. Where many would have shyed away from the challenge of competing today she embraced the moment and made everyone extremely proud winning a decision in a tough bout. @christian.trcek showed everyone what I already know, he is going to be a superstar ! Unable to get match ups we took up a challenge, in only his 2nd bout Christian took on a proven star with 15 fights experience and only 2 losses. He came as close as possibly imaginable narrowly losing 3:2 in a bout many thought including me could have gone our way. @_huntertrcek put on a demolition job handing his opponent two 8 counts before the ref had seen enough stopping the bout at the start of round 3. As always thank you to @mcdonald9684 for his assistance in preparing and cornering the fighters. Thank you to all the PenBkx crew that turned out to support there teammates and today was a special day for me as I got to share my love and passion for boxing with my amazing daughter Moo ❤️

These two legends both stepped back in the ring for there non decision bouts. The majority of people will never truely understand or comprehend what it takes to put all the work into weeks of preparation to then be completely exposed in front of a crowd whilst someone is throwing punches at you with the intention of hurting you. To have an 11 year old and a kid that faces more adversity in a week than most will face in there lifetime commit to the training and trust in my guidance is as rewarding as anything I have done as a coach.. Both boys did me, their families and our gym proud!
