For those who know me know that last year was not my year, but this summer has definitely healed that part of me that was broken and hurting. I want to say a big thank you to LCBC and all of the amazing staff for all that you have done to make this summer amazing. Selma I appreciate you teaching me how to dive and always pushing me to be the best that I can be and thank you for helping me kind of get over the fear of heights and pushing me to do the high ropes, Truett I thank you for stepping up and helping with my Xtreme kids and driving us places, Rae I thank you for always being there for me and being someone to talk to, Dylan and Ben I thank you two for becoming like brothers to me, and I thank the whole staff for being so welcoming to me. I wish nothing but the best for y’all in this next season as we are all going our separate ways. If it weren’t for this camp and staff all being there to help and support me I don’t know where I would be right now. Going into camp two weeks later than everyone was definitely nerve racking being that I wasn’t able to be apart of all the bonding and earlier staff training but everyone of you pulled me right in as if I had known you my whole life. I have loved every single moment even when we were stressing about getting the musical songs right lol. I hope to be back next summer but if I can’t be just know that all of you will hold a special place in my heart and you all shaped me into a better human, from carrying a canoe up MT. luther crest to prank the Blazers to the weekly hot chocolate heists with my campers that definitely did not happen, it all shaped me into a better person and will all be missed so so much I thank you LCBC staff of 2026. I hope we will all be intentional with our future decisions and choices we make, with much love, Bailey.

Livin.

New city. New job. A lot of miles. More mountains and sunsets than I can count. Still figuring things out, but it’s been one hell of a chapter.

Grateful for it all, and especially the people that made the last one so damn good.

Coming into camp this year I was a bit nervous honestly, there were so many new people and I was worried things wouldn’t be the same, and they weren’t. There were new people and new parts of training and new experiences for me, but it was all absolutely for the better. The time I spent in staff training helped me find myself again, and helped me return to enjoying things that I used to love so much. I so deeply love every one of the new friends I made the last two weeks, and I am so grateful for the familiar faces and friends that continued to be such wonderful presences in my life. I can’t express enough how much this place and these people mean to me, and I am so excited for this summer :)

And I just bought Chacos 😈
