I am not playing with my new life 🔥. I didn’t choose this path but I am going to own it and destroy it! Just call me Beth Dutton! Working out and taking care of myself has kept me from quitting. It has ensured that despite everything I have my armor to survive. Reminded me how strong I am mentally and physically and accepted my anger and grief with no judgement! It has been my safe place when I had no one or no where to go. The devil try’s to take me everyday, try’s to make me quit and doubt myself. He wants me to believe I am not worthy and I can’t do this. Well fuck him and anyone that tries to do the same! I am so proud that despite everything I haven’t given up on myself. Seeing the difference in these photos is the reminder I needed today. Call it whatever you want, I call it being one badass fucking widow. This life truly isn’t ready for me! #grief #widow #workout #transformation #veteran

Meet Coach Matt Cable

Matt coaches Health & Wellbeing at HatchPath, and his members can’t stop talking about him. 14 reviews, a 5/5 average session rating ⭐️

Carlos O. came to Matt with a history of injuries. Matt built him a personalized exercise plan around them and stayed in constant communication along the way. The result?

“I feel healthier and stronger than ever. My wife has seen my results and now works out with me.” 💪❤️

That’s the kind of ripple effect great coaching creates. When one person transforms, the people around them often follow.

Other members describe Matt as “outstanding,” “consistent and very positive,” and “focused and motivating!!!” 🔥

Coaching matters. Leadership matters. Accountability matters.

Don’t leave your workouts up to chance. Take the thought out of programming. Take the thought out of knowing the form on everything , and let the coaches give you the cues.

The uniform doesn’t automatically make you disciplined.
Some Soldiers are sharpening their edge.
Others are slowly losing it.

At some point, motivation stopped being enough.

That’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud.

You can blame the schedule.
The stress.
The exhaustion.
The lack of time.

But eventually you have to decide whether you’re still becoming who you said you’d be when you raised your right hand.

Discipline is not built when life is easy.
It’s built when you train anyway.
Track anyway.
Lead anyway.
Show up anyway.

The body changes after the habits change.
The mindset changes after the standards change.

That’s why most people stay stuck.
They wait to feel ready instead of acting like the person they claim they want to become.

These 10 reminders are not about motivation.

They’re about identity.

Iron Legacy Coaching
HONOR. STRENGTH. DISCIPLINE.
The way we train. The way we live.

Comment LEGACY if you’re done making excuses and ready to rebuild your edge.

Functional Fitness.

Not just building the body and the mind… building a life…
.
Amidst training, there’s living. Strength training gives the body the ability to be strong and resilient. Movement gives the autonomy to show up, be present, create, and interact with the world around you.
.
Spent time lifting, but also spent time clearing trees for a future garden. However, in wanting to keep some of the trees to create a tree-line, I dug up quite a bit of trees and pulled them by hand. A decade ago I was wondering how I was going to carry my child, I could barely carry 5lbs… Today we’re moving 255lbs of weight and 60-100lbs of trees. God is good and movement is medicine. 54 days until Games.

Male and female teammates share a sandbag toss effort. The bag has to travel across the length of the Grid. This is an element in the Sprint Relay race in which there are 8 elements. 4 must be completed by males, 4 by females. The @atlantawild strategy in this element was to leverage @mattcable_ long throws first but have @coach_vilma finish the element to maintain the needed male/female split.

THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND. THE DAD. 😤🔥

Veteran presence. Dad strength. Absolute problem when the bar gets heavy. He’s a TITAN and a MENACE on the Grid.

Let’s run it back 💪

20 years of excellence.

For two decades, Building Homes for Heroes has been doing what few organizations can — gifting mortgage-free homes to injured veterans and their families, and changing the trajectory of their lives. As they approach their milestone 500th home delivered, we couldn’t be more honored to be in their corner.

Together, we’ve brought world-class human performance resources to over 20,000 veterans and first responders — because those who sacrifice everything deserve nothing less.

Here’s to 20 years of service, and many more to come.

Congratulations, @buildinghomesforheroes 🇺🇸

We’re excited to announce that our gym will be participating in the CrossFit Open!

All CrossFit classes on February 27th, March 6th, and March 13th will be performing the weekly Open workout.

If you’re officially signed up for the Open, please note:
We cannot guarantee a judge during regular class times.

If you need an official judge, you must bring your own or attend our Friday Night Lights event.

Friday Night Lights
The 6:15PM class will be replaced with a heat-style format.

If you would like a judge to officially score your workout — or at least someone to count your reps — you’ll have access to that during this time.

Heat Sign-Ups
Once the workout is released, an Excel spreadsheet with available heat times will be emailed out.
You can also simply show up and sign up for the next available heat.

Important Notes
Warm-up will be self-guided.

Please be familiar with the standards, weights, and the version of the workout you plan to complete before your heat time.

Already completed the workout earlier in the day — or just want to come cheer everyone on? Come out and be part of the energy!

Judge's Course
Taking the judges course helps refresh your knowledge on standards and what to look for. This makes judging during Friday Night Lights much less daunting.

We would love for anyone and everyone to sign-up for the judges course!
