Annual trip for @andy_khwa and Robbie’s bday on the @aztecsportfishing. Nothing but good times and absolute bent rods with a bunch of salty mofos. Great seeing everyone!

3 day on the @aztecsportfishing , November 1-4! Made an absolute crazy run down south aboard the Aztec Sportfishing, further than most sports boats would go, especially on a 3 day. We originally wanted to head west but weather wasn’t cooperating with REALLY bad winds and swell.

we left on the morning of November 1st and returned November 4th.

Our game plan was to run way down south in hopes of running into the something. We literally had 1 day (12 hours)day to fish and slowly work back up the line hoping to pick away and anything we can get on the way home.

We found our first school on a troll on November 2nd around 6:30am and did as much damage as we could until sunset that day.

Our 20 guys ended up with 73 yellowfin, 15-103lbs gill and gutted, with high casualties because of the mixed grade fish. Started with 30lb and we all eventually flylined 40-60lb fluorocarbon and @blacktailfishing hooks (2-6 mutsu circle hooks) with much more success. None on the jigs, few short bites on colt snipers and Zakana style jigs that eventually came unbuttoned.

On Sunday November 3rd we made a 50-60 mile run back up the beach and did 4-5 drifts for an insane bite for lingcod, miscellaneous rock fish, and white fish. Enough with the long description, onto the pictures….unfortunately there weren’t many because we were fishing hard and weather came up a bit when we were down south.

Can’t say enough great things about Greg, the crew, and chef Ryan on the Aztec, “We find the fishes..!”- GG

Killer trip on the @aztecsportfishing with the fellas. Landed 5, lost 3, 2 were hand offs from @andy_khwa of course. 25lb test is no joke, lots of casualties. Thanks Capt Greg and crew, Justin, Morgan, Nick, Toby and @ots_swimbaits. Cleaned off every plate every meal. Apple Cranberry sauce 🤌 plus the bday pineapple poke for Andy and Robbie 👌

Got to put the GPX80 Raptor wrapped by @jnocustomrods to work and also the GP80 Terminator he did last year, thanks for the 🔥🔥🔥

Great time fishing with @charlycc83 @mattchewly @dnutz13 seeing the Lexa put to work and a Saltist 15h that’s in much needed service but still slayed 😆

Great time meeting everyone on this trip and sharing the rails with all of y’all. Happy Bday Andy 🤙

Highlights from this past weekend’s two day trip aboard the @newlo_an_sportfishing

The group ended up with 16 BFT from 20-40lbs with some kicker fish to 100lbs. Weather and current made it difficult but we did the best we could. Thanks for everyone who joined us on the trip.

Thanks to @newlo_an_sportfishing and the crew for taking care of us and keeping us safe.

Until next time…

Couple pictures of my upgraded sway bar mounting plates from @mattchewly at @techcraftperformance using @ecstuning sway bar brackets holding my @uuc_motorwerks sway barbarians in place. While torn brackets are not common, it’s still a failure point on E36 cars with upgraded front sway bars that see heavy track use. Install performed by the one and only @jerickjavier21 from the legendary race shop @jmp_autowerkz 🤙🏻🔥🐝

@jerickjavier21 over at @jmp_autowerkz did some great work installing the sway bar plates from @mattchewly over at @techcraftperformance and the upgraded sway bar brackets from @ecstuning! These work great with my @uuc_motorwerks Sway Barbarians! These brackets are offered in various sizes based on your sway bar needs. 💪🏻❤️🐝
