To the little girl who had a BIG dream and has worked towards it every single day since she moved to Texas more than 3 years ago...WE ARE SO BEYOND PROUD OF YOU!!! You left your home, your family, pets, friends, school, and god so much more (everything you have ever known) You have competed through sickness, pain, and hard times to a level I honestly didn’t know existed. You had to sit on the sidelines due to an injury ( an injury I thought was going to break you because you couldn’t do the thing you loved) but you never gave up. You came back stronger and better!! This weekend we got to watch you compete in your first elite meet, my mom heart is in overdrive. Your determination at this is age is something I will admire about you more than you’ll ever know.
You have given up a lot but you have also gained SO much ( a whole Metroplex family for one) It takes a village, and I couldn’t ask for a better one to leave my little goose on the loose with... WE LOVE YOU METROPLEX!!!
I wanted to end this post with LETS DO THIS, but you are EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!!! She’s going to hate me for this but I’m throwing back to her very first medal, how she always played with her dolls ( all dolls do gymnastics...right?) Oh and when her brother Blake made her lose her back handspring🤣
BAD HADS you are doing this, and being along for the ride is our, well our greatest joy! Do you girl 😘 WE ALL GOT YOU!!!
